Susan is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems specialising in Business, Management and Strategy. She also has responsibility for Quality Enhancement and Assurance in the Field of Information Sciences.
In her career she has spanned many key business areas linked to information technology and systems including, CAD, production, marketing, installation and Service Management and has specialised in IT training in programming and applications. She now has industrial links as part of the government supported Knowledge Transfer Partnership initiative.
Susan has a Cert. Ed and MSc and her research interests are channeled towards interface usability and the "older adult". She is a member of the British Computer Society (BCS) and the National Computing Centre (NCC).
In her training career Susan has worked with a wide variety of organisations including plcs, SME's, service, automotive and robotic industries.
Susan has an enthusiastic style that students find refreshing and motivating. In this leading edge environment she creates an atmosphere of "out of the box" and forward thinking. She is lively and knowledgeable and well respected by students and colleagues.
